I don't have a Win 7 SP1 OS but my understanding is that if you turned off your Windows Update before September 2019 and did not receive KB4490628 (the Windows 7 Servicing Stack Update released 1) and KB4474419 (SHA-2 Code Signing Support Update for Windows 7, released 2) then you might find that you will soon see issues with other software besides Malwarebytes if that software also requires SHA-2 code signing support.
